AMD Radeon HD 6800 new features HD3D, UVD3 and HDMI 1.4a
More and more informations leaks on the IT web sites and forums about the next AMD Radeon HD 6800 series , some rumours reported specifications but that still very unofficial and unconfirmed so just be patience and we will leaks the official specifications on the time.
For now the confirmed and interesting feature are the HD3D, UVD3 and HDMI 1.4a.
AMD HD3D is equivalent NVIDIA 3D Vision, and there is a 3D display support for games, movies and videos of separate glasses. HD3D includes support for Blu-ray in 3D, and a third-party 3D applications. UVD3 namely Universal Video Decoder 3 is a new version of the graphics within an integrated hardware-based support for H.264 and VC-1 video decoding formats. AMD's graphics in the current scene using a UVD 2.2, which is, inter alia, support for two video streams , which can deliver a Picture-in-Picture feature.
HDMI has been updated to the latest version 1.4a, which was released last March. 1.4a adds support for the two mandatory 3-D format (Side-by-Side Horizontal & Top-and-Bottom), which was dropped from the original 1.4 version.

ReplyDeleteAdding the two mandatory 3-D format to the new HDMI 1.4a makes all the difference if your viewing 3D high definition graphics.
