More rumours surface on the web about an upcoming black editions CPU from AMD , the Phenom II X4 980 Black Edition is to add to the AMD's performance line.
Specifications of the Phenom II X4 980 Black Edition are 3.70 GHz for the clock speed , (18.5 x 200 MHz) using the 45 nm technology codenamed "Deneb" ,the X4 980 BE features four x86-64 cores with 512 KB dedicated L2 cache for each core, a 6 MB shared cache memory, the TDP is 125W, Phenom II X4 980 Black Edition is compatible with the AM3 and AM2+ sockets including a dual-channel memory controller supporting DDR3-1333MHz or DDR2-1066MHz memory.
