Microsoft wireless desktop 800 Review and Test a wireless keyboard and mouse
Right now I'm writing this article using it, feel like free without these damn cables, so today we will take a close look and review the Microsoft wireless desktop 800 keyboard and mouse bundle.
These two hardware from Microsoft are the best solution for your HTPC or even your desktop workstation, with a good price tag and simple clear design you will love these two twin babies from the first time, the package include in addition to the keyboard and mouse four Duracell battery two 2AAA and two 2AA, and the USB Wifi receiver, there is no disk for the driver, when its plugged Windows will install the best Microsoft wireless desktop 800 driver automatically.
What will attract you is the glossy surface with a rounded designed shapes, the keyboard is sightly humped up on the space and arrows level make it easy for the fingers to hit all the buttons fast, also I consider this keyboard one of the most silent typing one, the Microsoft wireless desktop 800 keyboard has a calculator button shortcut, a multimedia (play/pause, mute, volume control) buttons, to make it easy for you to keep in touch with battery level Microsoft put a led light indicator for the battery level.
The mouse is a simple 3 button with a wheel and has a 1000Dpi and it have an on/off switch to save more battery.
Now lets take a close look at the product:
The mouce:
Wish you enjoy it ;)
Update: After a period of test, the result are really bad ! the mouse wheel stop responding for unknown reason, and some of the keyboard buttons not responding after a some coffee on the keyboard, the mouse does not work on any surface like standard wired mouses, for the battery life time Microsoft said the battery lifetime is about 9 months but in our test it least for only two months for the two AA mouse battery (the keyboard still working fine), also I noticed a bad experience for fast keyboard typing, the only good things we found are a good and strong wireless that work anywhere on your room, and a nice design.
So we would give this only 4/10 score.
