Core i5 2550K, 2450P and 2380P new IGP-less CPUs from Intel
A nice idea from Intel by removing out the GPU die from some Sandy Bridge CPUs, this news is now official after some noise about it, and it will result a lower final price compared with the on die IGP version of the CPUs.
So all Intel Sandy Bridge CPU right now on the market pack an integrated graphic chip inside, but this chip is used by a limited number of users specially when we talk about hardware enthusiast users.
the new IGP-less CPUs are Intel core i5 2550K, 2450P, and 2380P and they will come with an unlocked upper multiplier, so this will be a great choice for us, the new Core i2 2550K clock is increased by 100Mhz compared to the current 2500K resulting a base clock 3.4GHz and a 3.8GHz Turbo peak clock, and the price tag is $225
