One of the most advanced company in building motherboard Gigabyte, introduced today a new socket motherboard based on the AM3+ socket supporting the latest AMD ²FX processors, the Gigabyte 970A-DS3 Ultra Durable 4.
The new Gigabyte 970A-DS3 come with a lighter components version compared with the Ultra Durable3 , and a better weaved fiber-glass PCB that's better resistant to humidity problems and with basic Gigabyte motherboards features like 100% solid-state capacitor design, low-RDS (on) MOSFETs and more.
Specifications are quite attractive, with the AMD 970 + SB950 chipset and supporting up to four DDR3 DIMM slots and up to 32 GB in dual channel up to 1866+ MHz clock speed, PCI-Express 2.0 x16, one PCIe 2.0 x16 physically x4, three PCIe x1 and two PCI ports, six SATA 6 Gb/s ports with RAID 5 support, two USB 3.0 ports interconnected with a EJ168 controller, a Realtek ALC887 for audio part.
Now with the nice part of this motherboard, yes its the price, the Gigabyte 970A-DS3 will be available for only 100$ or even less make it a great deal for both gamers and desktop build.
