GeForce GT 640M Vs GT 555M first performance benchmark

The first review of a new Nvidia mobile GPU series is already done at PC Perspective, the review compare the GeForce GT640M inside an Acer Aspire Timeline Ultra M3 laptop with the previous generation Geforce GT 555M and the Radeon HD 6720G2 for laptops.

The GeForce GT640M use the Nvidia Kepler GK107 GPU using TSMC 28nm process technology to build it, core run at 624Mhz and 384 stream processors running @ 1248MHz and a 128-bit bus interconnected with 2GB of 1800MHz DDR3, specifications are interesting for a mobile device, the Acer Aspire Timeline Ultra M3 laptop cost $799.
