GTX 680 Vs HD 7970 new benchmarks spotted
Another one, after the first leaks of an unofficial benchmarks screen-shots few days ago, today we spotted a new review testing the next generation Nvidia's GTX 680 "Kepler" based high-end graphic card with the current leader and fastest single GPU graphic card in the world, the AMD Radeon HD 7970 also the Geforce GTX 580 Fermi 2.0 based is there.
The folk over hkepc managed to get thier hands on the new unreleased GTX 680 test it, unscrew it, and compare it, The test bed according to the source is an ASUS Rampage IV Extreme motherboard caring an Intel Core i7-3960X Extreme Edition processor and a DDR3 RAM running @2200Mhz quad-channel memory, what is interesting is that the GTX 680 seems to use a lower power compared with the HD 7970 from AMD which use the same 28nm process technology and run 5 to 6c cooler
