AMD A10-4600M HD 7660 Vs A6 and core i5 benchmark spotted

Recently a guys from AMD Korea revealed an early benchmark performance result of the upcoming AMD A10-4600M APU compared with branch of current GPUs configuration from AMD and Intel.

The AMD A10-4600M is a Trinity APU based on the 32nm process technology and pack four cores uses the "Piledriver" architecture modules from AMD, the specifications of the chip is 2.30 GHz for the four cores at normal mode and 3.00Ghz at turboCore mode, using 4MB of cache memory (2MB for each two cores), for the GPU, the AMD A10-4600M feature a Radeon HD 7660G GPU supporting the latest DirectX 11 and using 384 VLIW4 stream processors, the GPU core run @ 685 MHz .

The AMD A10-4600M support PCI-Express 2.0 standard and dual DDR3 channel system memory up to 1600 MHz speed, the performance result in 3D Mark 2011 (GPU/CPU combined result) is around 1500 Mark on performance presets which pass away the A6-3400M and higher than the Asus u46sv netbook which use the Nvidia GT540M and use an Intel core i5 sandy bridge CPU, take a look at the snapshots, the benchmark also show the result of the chip in dual-GPU mode when combined with an HD 7670M GPU, check it out (img courtesy of NordicHardware)
