ZOTAC GTX 680 Extreme Edition benchmark/Overclocked to 1.4Ghz and specifications leaked

Yeah this is the big monster out there these days, ZOTAC squeeze the latest generation flag ship Nvidia Geforce GTX 680 video card to get it's own enthusiast edition Kepler 28nm based graphic card with a ripping core clock speed up to 1.20Ghz, its the ZOTAC GTX 680 Extreme Edition.

Expreview managed to get their hands on this hot piece and posted  specifications and benchmarks videos about it, the clock speed of the GPU is factory overclocked to 1.20 GHz both for base and boost modes with core voltage core 1.212V, while the GDDR5 memory is clocked @ 1.50 GHz which equal to 6.00 GHz GDDR5 effective, that is not enough from ZOTAC, they left more roof limits for extreme overclockers as they report that the GPU can handle up to 1.5V for extreme-overclocking, with that hight voltage value in addition to the low power 28nm process, the GPU core can reach the 2.00Ghz barrier when overclocked well with a solid cooling system, these capabilities will need a strong VRM parts and a good ZOTAC cooling, so that's what they managed to combine with the PCB, a dual big fans with a five high quality  heat-pipes.
