Intel HD Graphics 2500, 4000 driver for Windows 8 with DirectX 11 support
Intel just leaked the first driver for the new Microsoft's operating system Windows 8 which will be released later this year, the driver is for both two last generations of integrated intel graphic chip, Intel HD Graphics 3000 available for the second generation code named "Sandy Bridge" and for the latest third generation AKA "Ivy Bridge" which pack the new Intel HD Graphics 2500/4000 GPU and supports for the first time on an integrated graphics chip DirectX 11, OpenGL 4, and OpenCL 1.1.
The new Intel graphics driver for Widows 8 is currently at Beta step waiting for the official release of the new Microsoft OS, now it can be used with the free versions of Microsoft Windows 8 Consumer Preview, this driver will add support for Windows Display Driver Model version 1.2 (WDDM v1.2)
features including flicker free rotation, native stereoscopic 3D and
also Microsoft DirectX 11 technology.
