ASUS ZEUS X79 with Dual-GPU motherboard specifications and pictures

ASUS showed off a prototype motherboard that will never goes public as ASUS said, ASUS ZEUS X79 is a dual-GPU on board motherboard featuring the latest Intel X79 chip and LGA2011 socket.

The  ASUS ZEUS X79 motherboard is equipped with eight DDR3 slots between the LGA 2011 socket and the special addition on this motherboard from ASUS's engineers is the modification of the PCI-Express 3.0 line and embed a dual-GPU graphics card, so there is no PCI-Express slots at all, even PCI is not there, the two GPU are interconnected directly to the CPU using two PCI Express 3.0 x16 buses, each GPU use their own VRM and video memory One 8-pin and one 6-pin PCI Express power connector needed to each GPU, its like a graphic card inside the motherboard.

The GPU used in this combination are likely an AMD made GPUs because of comparabilities with X79 chip.
