HD 7970 Ghz edition specifications, price and release date

AMD must respond to the Nvidia's Geforce GTX 670 graphic card which take the lead compared with the HD 7970 and HD 7950, and so AMD respond with a new SKU, after the HD 7970 Ghz edition targeting the GTX 690, here is the Radeon HD 7950 Ghz edition on the way.

The HD 7950 Ghz edition will use the same shapes of the standard edition HD 7950 with the same numbers of stream processors (1,792 Graphics CoreNext stream processors), 32 ROPs and 384-bit wide bus connected with 3GB of GDDR5 memory, this last one will be clocked at a higher clock speed up to 1.1Ghz, the price to take down the GTX 670 is from 350$ to 400$ and will be available this quarter from AMD's AIB partners.
