New Microsoft Surface with Windows 8 Pro specifications and price leaked

Here is the official price of the Microsoft Surface tablet bundle with Windows 8 Professional edition appeared X86 edition, the release date expected is January 2013 and for a price tag of 899$ for the 64GB SSD version and 1000$ for the 128GB SSD storage.

The first version of Microsoft Surface use an ARM based processor with a Nvidia Tegra chip, the new version of Microsoft Surface comes with an Intel X86 based processor and got the half battery life of the Surface RT, features and specifications of the new tablet are finger print and pen input support, the new tablet is powered with an Intel Core i5 Ivy Bridge processor, Intel HD Graphics 4000, with a clearType display running at Full-HD 1920x1080 resolution on a 10.6" display (previous RT version got 1366x768 resolution), 4GB of DDR3 memory, Wifi, Bluetooth 4.0 and an SDXC card slot support, front and back camera at 720p video recording, USB 3.0 is out there, a mini display port is available to connect the device to an external monitor.

All that packed on a 0.53" thick solid housing compared to 0.37inch for the RT version and 2lbs weight compared to 1.5lb for the RT version, conclusion a more powerful tablet from Microsoft with a slightly bigger size and heavier weight.
