This method work with wide range of Apple computer, laptop or desktop, all you have is to try it, if it wont work then you must use an operating system disk, tested on the PowerBook G5 and earlier.
shutdown your laptop/computer, then power it, when you hear the first Apple sound hold down "Command button" and "S" until you get the command prompt screen then type in the following commands, these are case sensitive please write them as they are and press Enter after every line:
- /sbin/fsck -y
- /sbin/mount -uaw
