How to boot from USB flash on ASUS S200/S300/S400 and similar UEFI BIOS

To install a new copy of Windows 8 or Windows 7 OS on the ASUS Sx00 notebook or similar notebook you must boot from USB stick or external DVD reader via USB port, so to do that you must change some parameters on the BIOS.


To do that follow these steps:

• When your notebook booting press F2
• Go to Boot page and Enable "Launch CSM" option.
• Then go to security page and disable the "Security boot controle".
• Now save the changes and restart the netbook, and press escape button
• Now you must find your USB device, select it !

That's it, now you can install any Windows OS from your USB flash disk or USB optical reader.
