How to install Xbox 360 wireless receiver driver Windows 7/8 64/32 bit

Hello again to this new tutorial, today I'll guide you how to install the driver for the Xbox 360 Wireless receiver, the controller driver is quite easy to install, but the problem is on the Xbox 360 controller receiver, which is buggy and no easy installation available specially for Windows 7 64bit.



First thing first download and install the official Microsoft Xbox 360 controller driver from here, then download the bellow zip files drivers for the Wifi receiver and extract them.

Now if you got something like the bellow screenshots and cant install it, you need some easy works.

Methode 1:

• Go to device manager and update the "unknown device".
• Select browse my computer for software.
• Then Browse to the extracted driver folders.
• Now hit next and confirm the install anyway.

Methode 2:

If the first one doesn't work, try this one.

• Go to device manager and update the "unknown device".
• Select browse my computer for software.
• Now chose "let me pick from list.." button.
• Select Common controller and gamepad and hit next.
• It should show you table like bellow

• Select Xbox 360 Wireless controller kit driver and hit next to install the driver.

That's it now your Xbox 360 Wireless receiver should detect you Xbox 360 controller .
